The University Innovation Challenge’s illustrious jury comprises leading figures from UIC partner organisations as well as experts from business and science. Together, they select finalists for each award category based on live pitches by the individual candidates.
In addition, the jury decides which two finalists per category will go through to the award ceremony on 17 September 2018, where they will present their respective projects to the audience. The jury also has an important say in deciding who will triumph in each UIC category.
The Scientific Advisory Board comprises professors from Goethe University Frankfurt, the Technical University of Darmstadt und the Technical University of Munich. After viewing and assessing the entries received, the board draws up a shortlist for each category.
The Scientific Advisory Board is chaired by Dr Katharina Funke-Braun, Managing Director of the Goethe Unibator.
